Imran Khan and Bushra Imran were sentenced to ten years in prison in total. This sentence, like the previous £190 million case against Imran, was given illegally at the behest of the Pakistani establishment, which is based on sheer malice and revenge. Pakistan, whose judicial system is already ranked 130th in the world’s worst justice system, has been completely destroyed by the intervention of the establishment.
In Pakistan, a tyrannical military leadership has eliminated the national civil leadership from the state. Even the independence of civil judges, judges of high courts and supreme courts has been taken away. They only read out the decisions provided by the establishment by setting up courts. The basic rights of the people have been taken away.Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi have been framed in a completely false case in the name of Toshakhana, although Zardari and Nawaz Sharif have committed major crimes in the past due to corruption in Toshakhana. The worst acts of revenge being carried out against Imran Khan and his party workers in the name of law are among the worst violations of human rights. The illegal punishments given to Imran Khan yesterday in the name of Toshakhana also did not take into account any principle of the Criminal Code. The lawyers clearly stated that “criminal action against Khan and Bushra Bibi was not proven during the prosecution. The entire case is politically motivated. I fail to understand how the establishment of the trust constitutes a conflict of interest.”
In all this situation, it seems that the current establishment can eliminate Imran by keeping him in jail for a long time.
