Pakistan’s Political Crossroads, External Meddling and Internal Strife.

Asia , Human Rights , / Wednesday, December 3rd, 2025

By  Analytical Desk / WPM Wednesday December 3rd 2025 I have warned before that all the amendments whether the 26th or the 27th would be consulted on from abroad and the notification direction for all the new appointments would be decided from outside Pakistan—this was true earlier and it is happening even today. People hardly remember these words of Imran who had said ‘We want Pakistan’s decisions to be made in Pakistan.’ The main reason for the delay is the incoherent 27th Constitutional Amendment. Who should be appointed where—the demand will come soon. Those appointed will also have to pay a heavy price in the form of ‘do more.’That is why the foreign powers playing a role in Pakistan’s politics have been satisfied through a friendly country that all their demands will be met this month but only if the current establishment gains control over all important canters including the CDF and is allowed to implement the ‘Hybrid Plus system the green light for which has now been given to the current establishment. Now after gaining full power and unlimited authority the current setup will fulfil all the goals that were promised in November. Therefore a notification can now be issued for retired Army Chief Syed Asim Munir to take over the post of Chief of Defence Staff (CDF). But the question will still remain: how was a notification issued to a retired Army Chief for the chairmanship of the CDF?This is a point on which those political parties in Pakistan whose future is threatened by this ‘Hybrid Plus system—including the incumbent PPP and PTI and later JUI—can immediately unite and launch a movement. After the implementation of the Hybrid Plus system when such steps are taken in the next stages the politics of these political parties will also end in Pakistan and their leaders may also face difficulties similar to those of Imran Khan. I have warned before that all the amendments, whether the 26th or the 27th, would be consulted on from abroad, and the notification direction for all the new appointments would be decided from outside Pakistan—this was true earlier, and it is happening even today. That is why the foreign powers playing a role in Pakistan’s politics have been satisfied through a friendly country that all their demands will be met this month, but only if the current establishment gains control over all important canters, including the CDF, and is allowed to implement the ‘Hybrid Plus system, the green light for which has now been given to the current establishment. Now, after gaining full power and unlimited authority, the current setup will fulfil all the goals that were promised in November. This is a point on which those political parties in Pakistan whose future is threatened by this ‘Hybrid Plus system—including the incumbent PPP and PTI, and later JUI—can immediately unite and launch a movement. After the implementation of the Hybrid Plus system, when such steps are taken in the next stages, the politics of these political parties will also end in Pakistan, and their leaders may also face difficulties similar to those of Imran Khan.
